ABOUT US
THE FARM
The farm is based on the Nunwell Estate, a historic piece of land below Brading down on the Isle of Wight.
We currently farm 125 acres of the Estate with our livestock enterprises in a share farming framework with the land owner Rob Oglander
We keep Belted Galloway cattle for beef, Native breed pigs for pork and hens for eggs.
Our outlook is that of working with nature to farm in a holistic and regenerative way which is kind to the land. We are passionate about producing nutrient dense and delicious food for our local community.
The farm is managed and run collaboratively by two young farmers who are committed to ecologically minded land use and fighting climate breakdown through land and animal management practices.
MEET THE TEAM
We are Francesca Cooper and Hollie Fallick, young women with a passion for ecological land use, animal welfare and social justice.
We are childhood friends who have never given up on our dream to get into farming.
Both from non farming backgrounds we have always had a passion for the land, soil and growing food and when the opportunity came up to take on a farm we jumped at the opportunity.
We are both young mothers with five children under 10 between us, but this never holds us back, we are hardworking, have an absolute love for learning and are passionate about our cause.
"We have always had a passion for the land, soil and growing food."
